About Let's Get Active
More Than Miles. We're Building Community.
Let's Get Active (LGA) was created around a simple belief: movement has the power to bring people together. We're more than a run club. We're a community built around movement, connection, accountability, and becoming better together. Whether you're an experienced runner, just getting started, prefer to walk, or simply want to surround yourself with people committed to living healthier and more active lives, there's a place for you here.
Your pace doesn't define your place in this community. Showing up does.
Our Story
It Started With a Shared Vision.
Sometimes the strongest connections begin before people ever meet.
Before starting LGA, Niyah Wilson and Ronnisha Simon didn't know each other, but they shared the same vision: creating a community rooted in movement, motivation, and genuine human connection.
Both were also navigating a new season of life as first-time moms. They understood firsthand how important it is to have a space where you can prioritize yourself, challenge yourself, and find people who encourage you along the way.
That shared vision became Let's Get Active.
What started as an idea for bringing people together through running quickly became something bigger, a growing community where people show up not only for themselves, but for one another.
One person. One connection. One run at a time.

Why We Move
Movement Is the Beginning. Connection Is the Goal.
Running may bring us together, but community is what keeps us moving.
LGA exists to create an environment where people from different backgrounds, fitness levels, and walks of life can come together and feel supported.

The Women Behind the Movement
Ronnisha Simon
President & Co-Founder
Ronnisha Simon is a registered nurse, wife, first-time mom, and day trader with a passion for wellness, balance, personal growth, and helping others succeed.
Her background in healthcare, combined with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, allows her to bring both compassion and leadership to the LGA community.
Ronnisha believes fitness goes far beyond exercise. It's an opportunity to create connection, accountability, confidence, and personal growth.
Her commitment to creating a positive and empowering environment has helped LGA grow into a community where people can challenge themselves while knowing they don't have to do it alone.
Niyah Wilson
Co-Founder
Niyah Wilson is an Army veteran, first-time mom, licensed esthetician, and creative at heart with a passion for building meaningful experiences that bring people together.
Her journey into wellness and community-building comes from a deep understanding of discipline, self-care, and the importance of human connection.
Niyah believes movement has the ability to transform both mental and physical well-being. That belief helped inspire the creation of LGA as a safe, motivating space where people from all backgrounds can feel encouraged, supported, and inspired to keep moving.
Her creativity, vision, and heart for community continue to help shape the culture, experiences, and energy behind LGA.
Everyone Has a Starting Line.
You don't have to be the fastest. You don't have to run the farthest. You don't have to have everything figured out. You just have to show up.
LGA is a space for runners, walkers, beginners, experienced athletes, and anyone looking for a community that will encourage them to keep moving forward. Because at the end of the day, it's not just about the miles we complete. It's about the people we become along the way.
MOVE. CONNECT. IMPACT.
